People's Rights

            In my opinion, repossessing another person’s belongings is entirely inappropriate unless it is to repay a debt that they have not met. Taking something that belongs to someone else is not only wrong but illegal. There are laws against theft for a reason, and said reason is simply because one has no right to another’s property. Being a government official or high-ranking business associate does not change anything either. Some people feel that being above others on the social ladder gives them privileges to others’ possessions as well as anything else they may feel entitled to. One’s ego can cause permanent damage to not only the owner but others around them. Keeping to oneself is vital to living peacefully with not only their peers but those ‘above’ or ‘below’ said standard.
