There are a number of reasons as to why people would
choose to bully others online rather than in person; one being that they feel
as if they could not be caught online because they are untraceable or people
simply do not care. This, however, is not the case. Cyber bullies are very much
traceable and quite easy to track down. Many cyber bullies are fined or even
apprehended due to their actions. Another reason people might bully online is
because it is easier to do altogether. One does not have to face the looks and
opinions others give them for their actions and sympathy would not take over.
Bullies are just as human as their victims and seeing the ones they are
bullying could cause them to change their minds in whole. Cyber bullying is
simple, and finding someone to pick on is not hard. One can find potential
victims anywhere and getting information on them is just as easy. It is
important to keep from letting one’s guard down online, for it is just as
dangerous as in person.
